Christopher West was raised in rural Northern California’s Humboldt County. West is a mixed media artist whose work explores language, storytelling, mar making and the natural world . He investigates the intersection and boundaries of drawing, painting and sculpture in his hand drawn and hand cut work. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and can be found in numerous private and public collections. West is currently an adjunct instructor at College of Marin and Santa Rosa Junior College. He lives and works in San Anselmo, CA
